Safeguarding
Safeguarding
At St Patrick's C of E Primary Academy, the safety, welfare and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, caring and inclusive environment where all children are valued, respected and supported to achieve their full potential.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. We expect all staff, governors, volunteers, visitors and contractors to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Our safeguarding procedures are underpinned by current statutory guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education, and our safeguarding practices are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain effective.
Our Safeguarding Policy
Our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy explains how we:
- Protect children from harm.
- Respond to concerns about a child's welfare.
- Promote children's wellbeing.
- Work in partnership with parents, carers and external agencies.
- Manage allegations and safer recruitment procedures.
